As a doctor leading the business and operations of a multispecialty hospital, my association with Bike-O-Holics began through a cancer awareness cyclothon that we organized together.
What started as a professional collaboration soon became a life-changing personal journey. Inspired by the passion, camaraderie, and encouragement of the Bike-o-Holics community, I bought my first bike and began riding regularly. The support and motivation I received from fellow riders helped me build confidence, improve my fitness, and discover a passion I never knew I had.
In just three months, I completed my first century ride and garnered the courage to attempt and finish one of their prestigious 130 km signature ride, The Gran Fondo Koheda 2026. For someone who has never ridden a bicycle after age 14, cycling has become an integral part of my lifestyle today. I now actively participate in endurance cycling, combine it with strength training, and am currently training for BRMs. Beyond physical fitness, cycling has taught me discipline, resilience, mental toughness, and the value of pushing beyond perceived limits.
Bike-o-Holics is much more than a cycling community - it is a family that inspires people to challenge themselves, embrace a healthier lifestyle, and achieve goals they once thought were impossible. I am grateful to be a part of this incredible group and look forward to many more miles, friendships, and milestones together.
